“Visual Computing Award” of the Graphics Award at the JSCES annual conference was announced.

Prometech Software, Inc. and NVIDIA Corporation jointly announced the “Visual Computing Award” of the Graphics Awards at the 20th JSCES annual conference, which was held from June 8th to 10th, 2015, in TSUKUBA international congress center.

Graphics Awards are given to the computer graphics content evaluated as excellent in the JSCES conference collection of papers. The awards include the highest award, the award of excellence, and the special award.

The special award called “Visual Computing Award” winner was selected based on the following criteria.

1. Work using GPU for calculation or visualization
2. Value the “Beauty” and the “Artistic quality” of the visualization
3. Work visualizing the essence by the integration of calculation and visualization
