Prometech’s co-founder Seiichi Koshizuka (Professor of the University of Tokyo) received the "Achievement Award" of the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science in 2017.
Prof. Seiichi Koshika of the University of Tokyo (Engineering Dr.), who is a co-founder of Prometech Software, Inc. as an External Board Member, received the "Achievement Award" by the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science in 2017.
This award is given to the members who have made a remarkable contribution to the development of academic studies related to computer engineering and technology improvement by the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science, in honor of their achievements.
The reasons for this award are as follows.

Prof. Koshizuka has engaged in the research of the numerical fluid dynamics and the field of computational engineering, devised a proprietary particle method Moving Particle Semi-implicit (MPS) method, applied it in a wide range of fields, and has made many achievements. In addition, he has been driving this field as a research subcommittee on simulation quality assurance established at the Society, as a vice chair or chief investigator of the research group. He also served on the Board of Directors from 2006 to 2011, the Vice Chairman in 2012-2013, the Chairman in 2014-2015, and the Secretary in 2016-2017, contributing significantly to the operation and development of the Society.
