Founders 10th Anniversary Messages
In celebration of our 10th anniversary, I would like to use this space to thank our members and great partners, and for all your support to Prometech Software since our start with just a vision in 2004.
We are deeply grateful to all users who have contributed to develop our particle method CAE, business partners which gave us a big synergistic effect for business development, stock holders who provided empathetic support to our company’s management, university researchers and students who steadily promoted our fundamental research, and most of all, our staff who have dedicated substantial efforts to create unique products.
Our motivation when Prometech Software started was to make “the REAL industry and academic relationship” which continuously produces great additional value by their organic cooperation, and to produce simulation software which targets not only Japan but also the whole world. Luckily, our vision has had received empathy from many people and I think that we could build a foundation in the past 10 years for future significant advancements.
Now our challenge is to improve Particleworks so that it will be used in the world and to expand simulation possibilities and applicable scope innovation much more than ever. We hope to disseminate our technology widely not only for high-value added manufacturing but also for society’s comfort and safety, medical welfare, education, and entertainment. Then, we wish to contribute to society where we enjoy active lives from the computational science point of view.
With the support from all of you, we would like to promote our effort in the next 10 years to become a real global software company which shows continuous innovation in the computational science field, by gathering our spirit, inventive ideas and energy in Prometech Software.

This year 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of Prometech Software. Again, I would like to express many thanks to our long years of support from customers, company staff, board members, stock holders, and the faculty of the University of Tokyo as well as those of Division of University Corporate Relations.
The particle method used in our software product Particleworks is a new simulation technology developed in Japan to contribute to the manufacturing industry. Now, complicated phenomena which have never been evaluated, such as oil splashing in the gearbox, high-viscosity fluid mixing in the chemical engineering process, and cooling by water spray in continuous-casting, are able to be solved precisely by using our particle method. Moreover, we can expect rapid and efficient improvement of equipment and products based on the simulation of new ideas in advance. Thus, simulation technology is the fundamental tool which is indispensable for advanced and speedy manufacturing, where the particle method occupies a substantial position.
The particle method is a brand new technology born in the University of Tokyo. Active researches in the campus promise the continuous development of the method and the expansion of the application range. It is also a great advantage that brilliant young human resources are always joining. We at Prometech Software hope to contribute to the manufacturing industry in the world as well as in Japan by maximizing the industry-academic relationship for the frontier technology. Appreciating your continued cooperation, we will make incessant efforts on the future growth.
